I suspect that Hering experimented with this commericial technique and considered this an original print
illustrator and sculptor
and did not begin to draw until he was in his 50's
Despite the condition issues a charming image with a Rackham like style

Kuhler, German-Amer., (1894-1977) Color I suspect that Hering experimentedOffset Lithograph and Watercolor. 1930's 40's, ed. unknown, 11 3 8 x 13 7 8, signed and dedicated in pencil, on stiff buff wove paper. Waterstain to lower right margin corner. This print is related to the images found in "Portraits of the Iron Horse", a book on trains illustrated by Kuhler.
