This piece was created from a wheel thrown body with added sculptural elements. Color is layered throughout the making process at every stage in order to achieve a lively depth in the surface. Gold luster accented. Blushed Blue on the inside. Hand wash only. Not suitable for microwave or dishwasher. Measure about 5. 25 wide by 4 high. Holds about 19 oz. Hand

Five shades of crimson are brushed on for an effect that looks as though a filtered light is dappling a moving surface

children's juice - these were thrown exceptionally thin

We will be working on a blank mug with a 'scroll' detail at the top of the handle

emerging as a fully functional work of art
