Sized to Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS), the bearing is encased in a crowned outer diameter (OD) cylindrical green anodized aluminum shell. The crown creates a curved contact surface that lets a compatible self aligning housing seat the bearing at a slight angle, helping compensate
